Kidder Law Firm Argues Herbicide Dispute in front of Ohio Supreme Court

Kidder Law Firm recently presented its argument in Craig D. Corder et al. v. Ohio Edison Company, Case No. 2023-0216 in front of the Ohio Supreme Court. The dispute centers around a 1948 power line easement, which grants Ohio Edison the “right to trim, cut or remove” vegetation that threatens its power lines. The Court will decide whether the easement language permits Ohio Edison to spray chemical herbicides on a landowner’s property.
