Charles L. Kidder
Charles’ legal career began with Big Lots, Inc. (NYSE: BIG) where he was recruited and initially hired as real estate counsel for the company. His concentration while at Big Lots involved procurement of new retail locations and performing all necessary legal work related to the expansion of the company’s retail stores. Later in his career, he served in the capacity of Vice President and General Counsel with another Central Ohio furniture retailer before returning to Big Lots in 1994 to co-found the company’s furniture division. In 2003, Charles entered private legal practice focusing on the support of small businesses, retail specific enterprises, real estate, title insurance, and energy related activities in Eastern Ohio, which include oil and gas leasing work, pipeline and utility easements and ancillary work related to the energy industry. Charles resides in Harrison County, Ohio and spends time between both the Cadiz, Ohio and Dublin, Ohio offices. He is actively involved with the Autism Community and specifically with Special Olympics events where his son Cole is a partcipant.

During law school Madison interned with the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic, where she advised local entrepreneurs on entity selection and formation and prepared and reviewed contracts. Madison currently resides in Grandview, Ohio where she enjoys playing sand volleyball, cooking, vacationing at the beach, and spending time with her family.

Steven R. R. Anderson
Steven represents clients in civil litigation and appeals, with a focus on real estate, contract, oil and gas, easement, eminent domain, and business issues. He is an experienced writer and oral advocate, having briefed and argued cases in both state and federal courts, including the Ohio Supreme Court.
Steven graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University with a Bachelors of Science in Economics in 2008. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2011, graduating cum laude.
Previously, Steven worked as a petroleum landman, where he located, targeted, and acquired mineral rights, negotiated oil and gas leases, and researched and analyzed real estate title. Steven has also owned and operated small businesses focused on acquiring and managing residential rental properties.

Tayte's primary responsibilites include the maintenance of the firm's fininacial records, marketing and business growth planning, and administrative legal work on behalf of the firm. Kelly Crouser
Kelly is a Title Abstractor and Closing Coordinator and has been employed at the firm since September 2023. Kelly coordinates probate filings across multiple jurisdictions and assists in the client in-take function for estate planning. With over 20 years of experience in the title industry, Kelly is also directly involved with performing title search, abstracts, and preparation of real estate closing packages. Outside of the office, Kelly loves spending time with her two children, Tristin and Jaymeelynn. She also enjoys fishing with her husband James.
